Siberian Dogwood - A deciduous, medium sized, suckering shrub which forms a thicket of slender stems with brilliant red shoots in winter. Ovate green foliate appears in spring, turning reddish in autumn. Small, flat-headed cream flowers are produced in spring and summer, followed by white berries, tinged with blue. Plant in moist, well drained acid or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade. Will tolerate wet or dry soils. Prune hard in February or March in the third year after planting to produce more colourful stems. Hardiness rating H7.
