Helleborus orientalis ‘Lucy’

£20.50

Christmas Rose: A clump-forming evergreen perennial, with leathery, divided, mid-green leaves. Cup-shaped near black, shaded purple single flowers with yellow stamens, are borne on branching stems through winter and early spring. Plant in semi-shade, but not full shade, as this prevents the leaves from drying properly during the day, and will increase the risk of fungal diseases. Plant in moist, well drained alkaline or neutral soil. Cut back dead flower heads. Hardiness rating H7.
