Pennisetum advena ‘Fireworks’
Fountain grass ‘Fireworks’: A deciduous, clump-forming grass up to 1.2m tall. The linear, erect or arching flat leaves are burgundy-red with park margins. When planted in partial shade the leaves are green with white margins. Red flower plumes on arching stems are produced in late summer, gradually fading to brown in autumn. Plant in moist, well drained loam or sandy acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun. Drought resistant when established. Hardiness rating H3.
At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
