Sweet gum: A beautiful, deciduous, compact, rounded tree which is often grown as a standard pompom tree. Shining green, deeply lobed maple-like leaves turn a brilliant, long lasting orange-red and purple through autumn. Ultimate height 1.5-2m. Plant in moist, well drained acid or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H6. We would advise that you will also need a stake, tie, compost and Mona Relief watering system with this tree.
