Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘Sem’

£13.50

54 in stock

A small, thicket forming shrub growing up to 1.5m tall, with many upright stems.   Its distinctive leaves are yellow-green, flushed with bright reddish-pink and bronze in spring.   The leaves become greener in summer, but redden during autumn.   It colours best in a good light.   Creamy white flowers are borne in erect panicles in July and August.   Requires an alkaline or neutral moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating is H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
