Pittosporum tobira
A slow-growing evergreen eventually making a large shrub, with bright, glossy green leaves in whorls. Orange-blossom-scented flowers in summer are creamy-white at first, later turning to yellow. An excellent wall shrub and also extensively used for hedging. Very drought-resistant. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil. Requires a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating is H3.
At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
