Nandina domestica ‘Pink Blush’

Nandina domestica ‘Pink Blush’ Sacred bamboo – Heavenly bamboo: a compact, evergreen shrub up to 60cm tall and 1.5-2m wide.   The new spring leaves open a blush pink, then deepen in colour, becoming a fiery red in summer through to winter and only turning green in the following year.   Small, star shaped white flowers are borne in long terminal panicles in summer, followed by red or sometimes yellow or white berries.   Plant in moist well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
