Camellia japonica (white) – Espalier 100 x 60cm

Camellia japonica (White) Espalier 100cmx60cm A large, magnificent, evergreen shrub with spreading branches and lovely, glossy, dark green oval leaves around 7cm in length.   Solitary white flowers 6-10cm in diameter are carried at the end of the branches in spring.   Plant in moist, well drained acid or neutral peaty soil, in full or partial shade, although will also do well in full sun.   Keep well watered during the summer months as this is when the buds for next year’s flowers are formed.   Prune immediately after flowering if required.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
