Cordyline aust. ‘Peko’

Cordyline australis ‘Peko’ Cabbage palm:  An evergreen shrub or small tree of palm-like appearance, growing up to 2.5-3m, with bright green arching leaves that are flushed reddish-pink on the underside and a pink central stripe.   Mature plants sometimes produce scented, white flowers in rounded clusters during the summer, followed by small dark berries.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered position.   Drought resistant when established.   Hardiness rating H3. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
