Chinese privet - A very striking large, evergreen shrub or small to medium sized tree, with bright green leaves, which are mottled with pale green and edged yellow or yellowish green. Small cream panicles of cream flowers up to 2ocm in length, are produced in late summer and early autumn, followed by black berries. Plant in all types of moist, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H5.
