Hebe Burning Heart A bushy, compact evergreen shrub growing up to 60cm high and with a similar spread..   The new leaves emerging in spring, are strongly flushed with deep pink, especially during colder weather, turning to a variegated grey and cream as the leaves mature.   Small spikes of lilac-purple flowers are borne from July to August, and are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.   Plant in alkaline to neutral moist, well drained soils in full sun or partial shade, with shelter from cold drying winds.   This plant is ideal for cottage gardens, borders and patio pots or containers.   Hardiness rating H4.
