Rock rose: A dwarf, compact,evergreen shrub, forming neat, cushiony mounds of small, narrow, dark green leaves. Masses of delicate, long-lasting sunshine-yellow flowers are borne from late spring throughout the summer. Drought tolerant, this plant is ideally suited to rock gardens, patio containers, and also as a superb ground cover or edging for hot dry borders. Low maintenance, and only requires a light trim after flowering. Attractive to bees and other pollenating insects. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun. Hardiness rating H4.
