Pear ‘Doyenne du Comice’: A deciduous fruiting, dessert pear tree growing between 4-8m high. White flowers emerge in mid spring, followed by moderate crops of very richly flavoured, and perfumed fruit of a buttery texture. This tree is in pollination group 4 and should be planted near to either Concorde or Conference for good cropping. Plant in moist, well drained acid or neutral soil, in a sheltered position, in full sun. Hardiness rating H6.
