Apple ‘Golden Delicious’: A deciduous, dessert apple tree, growing between 2.5-4m, depending on the root stock. Pale pink flowers emerge in mid spring, followed by heavy crops of greenish-yellow fruits which mature to yellow with age. When ripened the fruit is honeyed and very sweet. The fruit stores well and should be used between November and February. This is a group 4 pollinator and with there pollinate other fruit in the groups 3, 4 and 5. Plant in moist, well drained neutral soil, in a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H6.
