Lilac ‘Nadezhda’: A deciduous shrub or small tree, attaining a height of up to 4m, with an upright to spreading habit. Broadly oval green leaves are produced in spring, followed by large, dense panicles of very fragrant, double, bluish flowers, opening from violet coloured buds, in late May or early June. Attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. Plant in moist, well drained alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H6.
