Japanese Maple: A deciduous, medium sized upright Japanese Maple between 2m and 4m ultimate height, the young leaves emerging with shades of brilliant reds and purple in early spring, changing during the mid-summer months to a more bronze undertone to the red coloration. In autumn the leaves change with beautiful bright oranges and reds, which continue to intensify late into the season. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or semi shade. Hardiness rating H6.
