Japanese Maple: A deciduous, rounded, small, bushy tree growing to around 4m in height, with luminous green stems. Lime green leaves with seven long, pointed lobes, emerge in spring, and mature to bright green in summer, later turning to orange and red in autumn. Hanging clusters of inconspicuous small, green flowers are followed by red-flushed winged seeds. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or semi shade. Hardiness rating H6.
