A deciduous, compact, bushy shrub growing up to around 50cm, with oval, toothed, dark green leaves. The slender, single flowers have reddish-pink sepals and purple petals and are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade. Hardiness rating H4.
