New Zealand Flax: An evergreen, clump forming perennial up to 1.5m tall, with upright, sword-shaped leaves of yellow-green, with numerous thin, darker green stripes, especially at the margins, and occasionally with a feint pink stripe in the centre.   The plant provides a beautiful accent and movement to any border, with its graceful arching leaves.   Plant in moist well drained acid or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H4.
