New Zealand Flax: An evergreen, clump forming shrub with sword-shaped ruby-red leaves with a deep pink central stripe and bronze margins.   This shrub, with graceful, arching leaves will prove movement and texture to any border.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H4. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
