Holly - A small, ornamental, evergreen tree up to around 8m, with oblong-elliptic, spiny, blackish-green leaves up to 7.5cm long.   This female plant produces white flowers in early summer, followed by profuse orange-red berries in autumn, where there is a male pollinator nearby.   Plant in all types of moist, well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H6. We would advise that you will also need a stake, tie and Mona Relief watering system with this tree. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
