Red Robin - A large, vigorous, evergreen shrub or small tree with dark glossy green, elliptic, leathery leaves up to 10cm in length.   Brilliant red young growths are produced in early spring, maturing to dark green with age.   Clusters of creamy-white flowers appear in spring if the plant is left unpruned.   Ideal for evergreen hedging, or individual specimens, in bush or tree form.   Plant in moist, well drained soils, avoiding clay.   Hardiness rating H5.
