Veronica longifolia ‘First Lady’ Garden Speedwell:  A clump-forming, compact perennial growing up to around 50cm high, with upright stems and toothed, lance shaped green leaves.   Dense spikes of small white flowers are borne from mid-summer through to early autumn, and are attractive to bees and other pollenating insects.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Will not tolerate waterlogging.   Hardiness rating H7. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
