Ilex x meserveae ‘Blue Prince’

Ilex x meserveae ‘Blue Prince’ Blue Holly:   A very hardy, prickly, evergreen shrub growing up to around 4 metres, with dark, purplish-green stems, and dark, bluish-green leaves.   Small white male flowers appear in spring, and are useful pollinator for female meserveae cultivars.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H7.
