Viburnum tinus ‘Gwenllian’ Laurustinus Gwenllian:  On of the most popular, compact, medium sized evergreen shrubs, with masses of dark, glossy green oval leaves.   Clusters of flowers which are a rich, deep pink in bud, opening to white, flushed pink are produced in late winter, which are attractive to bees and other pollenating insects, followed by metallic-blue berries.   This plant has many forms; as a shrub it is lovely as an individual, or can be used for hedging, and is also grown as a half standard for a more formal look.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full or partial shade or full sun.   Hardiness rating H4.
