Aucuba japonica ‘Crotonifolia’ Spotted Laurel: a medium sized evergreen shrub with large leaves which are boldly spotted and blotched with gold.   Shade tolerant, forming dense rounded bushes, although retain their colour best in an open position.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full or partial shade. Hardiness rating H5.
