Yucca gloriosa ‘Variegata’

Adam’s needle, Spanish dagger:  A small to medium sized single stemmed tree like, evergreen shrub with stiff, spine-tipped leaves which are striped and edged creamy-yellow, fading to creamy white on older leaves.   Bell shaped creamy white flowers, sometimes tinged red on the outside, are borne on erect, crowded panicles between 1 – 2m high, from July to September.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun.   Hardiness rating H5.

At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.

All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
