Cornus sanguinea ‘Winter Beauty’

Dogwood: A deciduous shrub with yellow and red stems which are attractive and create a fiery display in winter, growing up to around 2m high if left unpruned.   Oval green leaves appear in spring, turning a lovely yellow and orange in autumn.   Clusters of small white flower are produced in summer, which are attractive to bees.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H6.

At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.

All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
