Carex ‘Ice Dance’ Sedge:  An evergreen beautiful ornamental grass, forming a low, slow-spreading, tufted mound between 20-30cm tall, with narrow, arching glossy green leaves, which are edge with white.   Inconspicuous brown flower spikes appear on long stems in late spring.   This plant is an excellent ground cover, particularly in shady areas where grass struggles to grow, and works well in woodland and water gardens.   Plant in most types of moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full or partial shade or full sun.   Must be kept moist during the first year of planting.   Hardiness rating H6. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
