Carex ‘Amazon Mist’

Carex ‘Amazon Mist’ Sedge:  An evergreen clump-forming perennial, growing to around 35cm tall, with hair-like, silvery sage-green arching leaves.   Brown flower spikes on wiry stems 25cm long appear during mid to late summer.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H4. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.
