Campanula addenda ‘Ambella’ (Purple)

£14.45

Campanula addenda ‘Ambella’ (Purple) Bellflower:  A low growing evergreen, trailing perennial, which forms an attractive mound of small, mid-green, toothed leaves.   A profusion of purple, star-shaped, single flowers are carried on short stalks, just above the foliage.   This plant will bloom for between 4-6 weeks three times a year, for many years.   If the flowers are dead headed the flowering time is prolonged.   These plants are ideal for edges of borders, trailing over walls and in pots and baskets, and are attractive to bees and butterflies and other pollinating insects.  Plant in moist, well drained soil in semi-shade.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
