Adenophora ‘Gaudi Violet’

£11.50

Ladybells: A lovely, compact perennial member of the Campanula family, growing to around 70cm tall, and a spread of 45cm, with oval to oblong or lance-shaped green leaves.   Elegant spires of nodding, bell-shaped violet blue flowers are produced from early summer through to autumn, and are attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.   The flowers also make lovely cut flowers, and are ideal for cottage style borders, adding height and texture.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H5.   At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.   All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
