Gaura lindheimeri ‘Whirling Butterflies’

A clump-forming upright perennial growing to about 80cm high, with lance-shaped, narrow green leaves.   Delicate, airy spires of white flowers with long white stamens are produced, opening from pink buds from late spring to early autumn.   Plant in full sun in moist, well drained soils, but will also tolerate dry soil and partial shade. Hardiness rating is H4.
