Eucalyptus gunnii ‘Azura’

Eucalyptus gunnii ‘Azura’ A hardy, aromatic, compact, evergreen shrub or small tree with silvery-grey peeling bark, revealing cream, olive green or pinkish brown patches.   Rounded, ornamental blue-green juvenile foliage is produced with an aromatic scent, and is ideal for use in floral arrangements.   Regular pruning will help maintain its bushy appearance and encourage the juvenile foliage, as unless pruned, the plant will produce mature lance-shaped foliage.   Small, white, fragrant fluffy flowers appear on mature plants from mid-summer through to autumn, followed by woody, olive-green rounded fruits.   Plant in moist, well drained acid to neutral soil in full sun.   Hardiness rating H5.
