Dryopteris affinis ‘Crispa’

£10.20

Dryopteris affinis ‘Crispa’ A dwarf, evergreen fern which produces green, twisted, congested fronds, with hairy golden brown midribs.   The lance-shaped golden-green pinnate fronds darken with age.   Matures to large, handsome clumps, and is suited for rock and miniature gardens, growing best in full sun or dappled shade.   Grows well in most types of moist, well drained soil.   Hardiness rating H5. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering.   All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
