Camellia sasanqua ‘Cleopatra’ – Mushroom

Camellia sasanqua ‘Cleopatra’ A lovely, medium sized, compact, winter flowering evergreen shrub which produces masses of beautiful pale pink flowers which cover the entire plant.   The 7cm, semi-double rose-pink flowers have five large petals and two smaller ones, with bright yellow stamens and flower from autumn through winter months.   This plant is happy to be pruned so can be kept in shape, but care must be taken so as not to remove flower buds when trimming.   They are an ericaceous plant so should be planted in well drained, moist, acidic or neutral soil, or ericaceous compost, in full or partial shade or full sun, and fed regularly with an ericaceous fertiliser.   Hardiness rating H4. At certain times of the year the trees and plants that you buy from us may not look like the images shown on our website, this may be due to deciduous leaves falling, or the plant finishing flowering. All photographs on our website are of our own grown stock, or in the case of Italian specimens or bare root hedging, these are photographs of the plants actually in stock.
