Aster novi-belgii ‘Jenny’

£11.50

Aster 'Jenny' is a compact, clump-forming perennial prized for its masses of rich ruby-red, semi-double flowers that bloom from late summer through autumn. The vibrant blossoms provide one of the season's most striking displays, bringing long-lasting colour to borders when many other perennials have finished flowering. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other late-season pollinators, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens. The neat, bushy habit makes 'Jenny' ideal for the front of herbaceous borders, cottage gardens, prairie-style plantings, and containers. For the best performance, grow in full sun in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water during prolonged dry periods, deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering, and divide established clumps every few years to maintain vigour.
