An evergreen, mat-forming perennial to around 10cm high, with small, grey green hairy leaves.   Masses of white, four-petalled flowers are produced from April to June.   This plant is ideal for ground cover, pots and edges of borders and will provide nectar and pollen for bees and many other types of pollenating insects.   Plant in all types of moist, well drained alkaline or neutral soil in full sun.   Hardiness rating H6.
