Elephant’s ears: A tough evergreen perennial with rounded deep green leathery leaves, forming spreading clusters up to around 35cm high. Sprays of bell-shaped white flowers, often with a pink flush, are produced in early spring, but are clear white on more mature plants. Ideal for planting as ground cover and for edging borders. Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade. Drought resistant. Hardiness rating H6.
