An evergreen grass-like perennial forming a dense clump of linear, mid-green leaves with narrow white margins, up to 10cm long. Small clusters of brown flowers are borne above the leaves in summer. Plants in moist, well drained acid loam or sandy soil in full sun, in a sheltered position. Hardiness rating H2.
