Potentilla thurberi ‘Monarch’s Velvet’

Potentilla thurberi ‘Monarch’s Velvet’ Scarlet cinquefoil:  A semi-evergreen clump-forming perennial growing up to 50cm in height with five-fingered, bright green leaves.   Masses of saucer-shaped deep raspberry pink flowers with very dark centres 2.5cm diameter appear all summer long, and are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in full sun.   Hardiness rating H7.
