A herbaceous upright perennial forming a clump up to 60cm high, with erect stems with narrow, ovate leaves and vibrant, dark-eyed, deep yellow, brown centred flowers up to 12cm across. Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, well drained soil. Will tolerate dry conditions once established. Hardiness rating is H6.
