A compact, evergreen perennial, forming dense mats of bright, yellow-green leaves with slender stems that root at the nodes. Tiny white flowers are borne in summer, on stems up to 4cm high. Plant in poor to moderately fertile well drained but moist acid or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade. Prefers midday shade. Hardiness rating H6.
