Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’ Balkan clary: A compact perennial with aromatic grey-green foliage.   Upright, purple-black stems are produced from early summer through to autumn, with vertical spikes of stunning, rich, violet-blue flowers which are attractive to bees and other pollenating insects.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Hardiness rating H7.
