A compact evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial up to 35cm high. Palmate, lobed and tiered palmate mid-green leaves have striking, dark-brown central markings. Small, pale-pink flowers are produced from spring to early summer, clustered along each flower stem, giving a frothy, wand-like appearance. Plant in moist, well drained soil in full or partial shade. Protect from excessive wet in winter. Hardiness rating 7.
