A lovely, hardy, low-maintenance perennial with vibrant burgundy-red flowers which bloom for long periods over the summer, and serrated leaves, excellent for use as a ground cover, in containers or for hanging baskets and is heat and drought tolerant. Attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. Plant in full sun, in moist but well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, watering well until established, then reducing the frequency and avoiding waterlogging. Hardiness rating H3.
