£22.00

Japanese Maple: A low growing deciduous Japanese maple, young leaves emerge pale green, changing to purple-red throughout the summer when planted in full sun. When planted in shade the foliage is a mixture of light purple-red and green, turning to a right orange-red in autumn. The medium to large leaves are finely cut, with seven to nine lobes which are divided right to the base, with hooked teeth, which give an attractive lacy effect. Plant in moist, well drained neutral soil in full sun or semi shade. Hardiness rating H6.
