Californina lilac: A small to medium sized dense, mound-forming, bushy, evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves, growing up to between 1.5m and 2m.   Dense clusters of small, bright blue flowers, which are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, appear in May and June, and again in late summer and early autumn.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil in a sheltered position in full sun.   Hardiness rating H4.
