Cornus alba ‘Miracle’

Cornus alba ‘Miracle’ Dogwood;   This is a new variety of dogwood with the first pairs of new leaves opening brightly suffused in pink, with a bronzed central zone to each leaf when the striking network of red veins are visible.   The leaves become green with a cream edge through summer into autumn.   Plant in moist, well drained fertile acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Prune back to around 5-8cm in winter or early spring, and mulch with well rotted compost or horse manure.   Hardiness rating H7.
