Cotoneaster procumbens ‘Queen of Carpets’

Cotoneaster procumbens ‘Queen of Carpets’ A very prostrate, evergreen creeping shrub forming a dense carpet of small, glossy green leaves with whitish undersides.   Pink and white flowers with purplish anthers appear through the summer months, and are attractive to bees, and are followed by dark pink to red fruits through the autumn and winter.   Plant in moist, well drained acid, alkaline or neutral soil, in full sun or partial shade.   Will require regular watering until the plant is established, after which period it will convert to low maintenance levels.   Hardiness rating H6.
